Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data EdgeLytics collects when you use the web journal or the connected Discord bot, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

Account data: your email address and authentication identifiers, handled by our authentication provider (Supabase). If you sign in with or link Discord, we receive your Discord user ID and username so your bot and web activity can be matched to the same account.

Trading data: whatever you choose to log - symbols, entry/exit prices, P&L, tags, sessions, notes, checklists, journal entries, and any chart screenshots or background images you upload.

Technical data: basic request metadata (such as IP address and browser type) that our hosting provider processes to serve the site and keep it secure. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

To provide the service: storing and displaying your trades and journal, syncing data between the website and the Discord bot, generating the shareable recap images you request, and authenticating you.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

EdgeLytics is built on a small number of infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf as part of running the service:

• Supabase - database, authentication, and file storage for your account and trade data.
• Discord - if you use the bot or link your Discord account, Discord processes the messages and interactions you send it.
• Our hosting provider - serves the website and processes requests to it.

Public market-calendar data shown on the News pages (ForexFactory, Kalshi) is fetched without sending any of your personal data to those sources.

We use only the cookies necessary to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Your trades and journal entries are kept for as long as your account exists. You can delete individual trades at any time; deleting your account removes your personal data from our systems, other than backups kept briefly for disaster recovery and any copies required by law.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [your contact email]. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

EdgeLytics is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 16.

Our providers may process data outside your own country. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer for cross-border transfers.

We may update this policy as the service changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above, and significant changes will be announced on the changelog.
